Host Jeff Probst to headline his own first-run daytime talk show effective in fall 2012. The one-hour daytime talk show will cover topics ranging from newsmakers of the day to families and individuals facing challenges. Lake was an actress, starring in “Hairspray” and “Working Girl”, before starting her own talk show in 1993. After her talk show was canceled, Lake went on to host the 2006 CBS limited series Gameshow Marathon. The world saw her struggle with her weight

Ricki Lake's Weight Gain and She's Blaming it on the Boyfriend!
Ricki Lake is in love with her hot new boyfriend. The former talk show host says that she is having fun and is happier than she has ever been. Lake is living with her new boyfriend and it turns out that he is keeping her from working out. Ricki says that it is great she is not maintaining her weight now and admitted to going on what she calls a love binge.
Indeed, Lake is looking “fluffier” than she did back in 2008 when she lost an amazing 140lbs. Lake was maintaining her weight by exercising and watching what she ate but is now appearing to gaining that weight back.
The mom of two says that her new boyfriend, Christian, is a normal guy that she met through her best friend. The two have been dating since last summer and says she is in no rush to get married again, just yet. Lake is also excited about her upcoming documentary titled More Business of Being Born which will premiere this fall. Ricki is hard at work on her new talk show that is set to launch in fall 2012 as well.
