Duck Race winners announced
Brandon's Canada Day celebrations, moved this year to the Keystone Centre, benefitted from beautiful weather and a great turn-out, the city says.
Although it wasn't hosted anywhere near the still-very-high Assiniboine River, staff from the Riverbank Discovery Centre still conducted their annual Duck Race.

MOVING DIRT: New commercial space will be a reality in Tumbler Ridge, after Southpaw Rentals broke ground last Wednesday (May 4) in the construction of a new 10,000 square foot building in the Mesa Place service commercial park. The building will have a 100 foot by 60 foot shop space bookended by two 30 foot by 30 foot offices, and is expected to be complete within five months.
