How to cook a roast
Put the roast in a roasting pan, surround it with cut up potatoes, onions, carrots, and celery, sprinkle with cayenne and sea salt, cover and cook at 350 until veggies are done - time will vary depending on size of roast and amount of veggies. Do NOT add liquid - the liquid that cooks out of the veggies will be plenty, and you can use it to make gravy. Roasts are pretty much the easiest thing to make as all you have to do is toss it in the oven & cook it. I like to rub some herb blend & salt on the outside, or if it's a very lean sirloin tip roast, I rub the outside w/ a light coating of herb butter. Then just roast it at 350 - like Phoenyx said, time depends on the size of the roast. Same deal w/ pork - no liquid.
